New Crew Manager Enhancements
Enabled Users to Define Default Reuse Key on Data Imports
What is changing:
ARCOS has added the ability to allow authorized users to define a default Reuse Key for Crew Manager data imports.
This field will be visible to all, however to edit, users will require proper security access and permissions. To enable: SysAdmin > Security > Crew Mgr > Data Import Reuse Key Default.
Selecting the Edit icon, allows the user to select the Attribute from the list which will then be displayed in the Reuse Key column during the import process

Added Ability to Retain Existing Attribute Values on Data Imports
What is changing:
Users now have the ability to Retain Existing Attribute Values during data imports with the addition of the checkbox available in the right side of the Data Import screen. When enabled, the option will skip clearing crew and member attributes for reused members.
When checked, the following rules are applied during the import process pertaining to updating existing (Exists?=Y) crew/member data:
- Attribute values for attributes present in Crew Manager that are not contained in the imported file retain their existing values upon import
- Attribute values for attributes present in Crew Manager that are also contained in the imported file are updated according to current logic upon import
- If an attribute in the imported file contains null attribute values, the existing values are retained upon import.
In order for the “Retain Existing Attr Values” checkbox to be checked, either Reuse Crews or Reuse Members, or both, must be checked. If not, users will be asked if they’d like to proceed in a pop-up.

All ARCOS Crew Manager customers will receive this update.
