Enhanced SMS Opt In Messaging in SIREN Mass Calling
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced SIREN Mass Calling for SMS Compliance purposes. While users need to opt in prior to receiving SMS messages, ARCOS has added features allowing administrators to confirm the user has enabled the SMS function.
A message has been added next to the Initiate Mass Call button, alerting the user that the selected DataSet contains SMS addresses and by Initiating, they are enabling SMS Messages from ARCOS. This SMS sent will include a Welcome message, which is now included in the condensed template and the user will need to reply “START” or “OK” to allow/opt-in or “STOP” to cancel/opt-out.
The "MassCall OutCome Results" report will display that an SMS message has been sent.

Updated SMS Messaging During Callout
What is changing:
ARCOS has updated SMS messaging during a Callout. Users will receive a second message that they have “No Open Callouts” if the Callout has been filled and they are no longer needed before they respond to the initial Callout.

All ARCOS Callout customers who have SMS enabled will receive this update.

Enhanced Employee My Account Page
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced the My Account page available to employees allowing them to add new or update existing device information within the system.
Although the Call Order Sequence cannot edited, the associated numbers can.
NOTE: Only devices that are callout enabled, call sequence in the single digits, will be editable. Pagers that are callout enabled will be displayed, but not editable.

Updated Employee Name Field
What is changing:
ARCOS has updated the name field within the Employee tab to include the prefix “Du” when adding or modifying employee details.

New Callout Enhancements
Enhanced Callout Detail Report
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced the Callout Detail Report to include the new Use Event Dates button which is available just below the ARCOS Event section. When the user selects an Event from the list and clicks the Use Event Dates button, the Date Range is updated to reflect the Start and End date of the selected Event.
Users will receive a notification if the selected Event has no Start Date.

New Crew Manager Enhancements
Enhanced SMS Opt-In Messaging
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced the SMS messaging functionality while in Lodging mode within Crew Manager. An “SMS Notice” has been added in the EmailLodging setup dialog. The recipient must have an SMS-enabled device in the VERIFIED state.

All ARCOS Crew Manager customers who have SMS enabled will receive this update.

Enhanced to Include Warning For Duplicate Resources
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced Crew Manager to include a pop-up warning alerting the user when attempting to create a resource that already exists. The user must confirm to continue.

All ARCOS Crew Manager customers that have Resources will receive this update.

New SIREN & SIREN Mass Calling Enhancements
Updated SMS SIREN and SIREN Mass Calling Response Messages
What is changing:
ARCOS has modified the generic SMS message responses sent to users during a SIREN notification or SIREN Mass for clarification, which include:
- Acceptance Message when the user accepts receipt - “You have receipt of notification <ID>”.
- Confirmation Message when notification has been received by the user - “You have confirmed receipt of notification <ID>”.

All ARCOS SIREN and SIREN Mass Calling customers who have SMS enabled will receive this update.

New Resource Assist Enhancements
Enhanced SMS Opt-In Messaging
What is changing:
ARCOS has updated the SMS Messaging functionality within Resource Assist which includes:
- Added SMS information for each number in the SMS device selector.
- Added validation on the Save function to prevent the user from selecting a device that is not SMS enabled.
- Added a warning if the selected device is not SMS VERIFIED.
- Added Re-VERIFY button.

All ARCOS Resource Assist customers who have SMS enabled will receive this update.

New API Enhancements
Create Events API Endpoint
What is changing:
ARCOS will be adding an Events Endpoint to support Incident Manager Event information available to customers who have EM Endpoint enabled, in a future release.
