New Crew Manager Enhancements
Enhanced Callout Crew Records
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced Crew Manager to give users the option of either releasing an employee from their current callout when they are manually moved off a callout-created crew or not ending the callout record for the employee and having that callout record follow them when they are manually moved off of the callout created crew.
For customers who use Crew Template when creating a Callout, the option “Release callout crew members when ending allocations” has been added to the Crew Mode Settings, accessed through the Gear icon.
In scenarios where a member is manually moved off one callout-created crew and assigned to another, enabling this option will release the crew member from the callout record, the same way it currently functions. When disabled, or unchecked, the employee will not be released from the callout and the callout record will follow the employee to the new crew.
Who is involved:
All ARCOS Crew Manager customers who use Callout Crew Templates will receive this update.

Added New ifMatch Formula
What is changing:
ARCOS has added the new formula, ifMatch() which allows for criteria to be met to identify any pairs including Members, Crews, Devices, etc, and output an Attribute value.
For example:
- ifMatch(C, Phone1, Phone1, Phone2, Phone2) = ifMatch(formula) looking for (device type = ‘C’), the device to compare, a device to display in the attribute.
If the first device is a cell phone, display the number of the first device in the attribute, and so on for the second and third devices.
Who is involved:
All ARCOS Crew Manager customers will receive this update.
What you need to do:
No further action is necessary to implement this change.
New Resource Assist Enhancements
Enhanced RA Lite Integration Within Crew Manager
What is changing:
ARCOS has further enhanced the Resource Assist integration to Crew Manager to include the addition of the Use Crew Manager button on the View Request page. This new functionality allows licensed Crew Manager customers to respond to an Incoming Request using Crew Manager data, bypassing Roster Template Downloads, and includes access to Perspectives which identify crews, members, and resources directly from Crew Manager.
Once selected the Request Details are displayed on the right side of the window. Here the user needs to enter the Date Range for the request, Select Perspective, identify the crews, members, and resources such as vehicle data directly from Crew Manager, and Select Schedule Record Event from the menu.
Once the required fields are completed, click the Load Perspective button to display all members and resources within the selected Perspective along with their associated Attributes.
Perspective members and resources can be selected as a group or individually by expanding the crew.
Employees with schedule conflicts will be highlighted and their records can be viewed by clicking the calendar icon. Once the selections have been made, clicking the Manage Roster button allows the user to complete the Roster Validation process as previously documented.
Once Validated and submitted against the request, the schedule record of each submitted crew member is updated to “Assigned Major Event” for the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time as specified in the Date Range.
Who is involved:
All ARCOS Crew Manager customers will receive this update
What you need to do:
No further action is necessary to implement this change.
