Java Update Required
What is changing:
Effective after the Production Release on September 2, 2021, users will need to update their Java version to Java 6 or higher (version 1.6) to continue to use the Java method for recording custom messages in ARCOS Callout.
Due to security reasons, ARCOS will no longer support older Java versions after this release.
Who is involved:
All ARCOS customers will receive this update.
What you need to do:
Users will need to update the version of Java installed on their computers to at least version 1.6.
Updated Qualifications Option in Employee Extended Attribute List
What is changing:
ARCOS has updated the Extended Employee Attribute whereas Quals, available in the Details page while Creating an Attribute in the Employee tab within the Sys Admin module, must be selected in the category list to allow the Quals checkbox option to be available on the Callout Create page.
NOTE: Existing customers who use quals will have this updated automatically.

New Crew Manager Enhancements
Updated Default for Release Callout Crews
What is changing:
ARCOS has enabled the Crew Mode Setting “Release callout crew members when ending allocations?” by default, for all customers.
This setting can be disabled in Crew Mode Settings, accessed by clicking the Gear icon, and unchecking the box. To permanently disable it, contact ARCOS Support.

All ARCOS Crew Manager customers will receive this update.

Enhanced Resources Group Checkbox
What is changing:
ARCOS has enhanced the Resource Panel Group checkbox in Crew Manager. When searching in the Resource Panel, the group checkbox for groups that did not return a positive result will be unchecked when the Search parameters are cleared.

All ARCOS Crew Manager customers will receive this update.

New RA Lite Enhancements
Added Ability For Requesters To Bulk Edit Roster
What is changing:
ARCOS has added the ability for RA Lite users to apply a common value to all Missing Fields during the Validate Roster process. An Edit Column option has been added to the Manage Roster window for both Incoming and Outgoing Requests.
When selected, the user can choose the Column to Update, and depending on the attribute type selected, a dropdown menu or text box for the New Value will display.
Select the members from the list to update or toggle the Select All option on to apply the New Value to the entire list and Save.
Saved changes CANNOT be undone, users will be asked to confirm the updates.

All ARCOS RA Lite Requesting Partners will receive this update.
What you need to do:

Added Ability For Responders To Bulk Edit Roster
What is changing:
ARCOS has added the ability for Responders to apply a common value to all Missing Fields during the Validate Roster process. The Edit All option has been added to the Manage Roster window and will display a dropdown menu or text box depending on the attribute type selected.

All ARCOS RA Lite Responding Partners will receive this update.

New Mobile Enhancements
Updated Custom Message
What is changing:
ARCOS has updated the Custom Message (TTS) functionality in the Mobile app to behave as it does within the web application. When creating a Callout in the Mobile app, the selected text from the Custom Message field will automatically be copied to the Custom Message Text field as it functions in the web application.

All ARCOS Mobile Callout customers will receive this update.
