I don’t want ARCOS to reset OT Hours since we handle that ourselves. How can this be done?
If you don’t want OT Hours to reset then you will need to create a Start of Year Set with a Start of Year Date corresponding to when you previously reset OT Hours within your company. If you do not know this then you can use a date prior to when OT Hours were reset last or your ARCOS “Go Live” date.
What time on the Start of Year Date will ARCOS reset OT Hours? How can I change this?
ARCOS will reset OT Hours at 00:00 on the Start of Year Date. This cannot be changed. OT Hours are only applied at 00:00 within ARCOS.
Our rosters do not resequence until after OT Hours are reset. Do we need to avoid performing callouts until then in order to ensure employees are sorted correctly?
You do not need to avoid performing callouts. Start of Year Admin will NOT sort rosters (unless this option has been enabled). When the OT Hours reset rosters may appear to be out of order, since all employees have 0 OT Hours, but the roster will remain in the same order they were in prior to the Start of Year Date until a sort action is performed (e.g. resequence date occurs).
Our OTI file load will occur on the Start of Year Date. Will we need to do anything special to avoid complications?
OT Hours cannot be applied as of a Start of Year Date. If you encounter this situation then the Start of Year Date would need to be set to the day prior, this will allow the OTI file to be loaded and applied properly.
I added an incorrect Start of Year Date to a Start of Year Set we’re using and all OT Hours have been reset before they should. How do I fix this?
If you did not use the Clear Adj Hrs or Sort Rosters options then all you will need to do is remove the bad Start of Year Date and add the correct one. If rosters were sorted prior to this correction then they will need to be sorted after this correction. If Clear Adj Hrs was used then all Adj Hrs for employees in the location which use the Start of Year Set will need to be added manually. ARCOS will not be able to restore these hours.
How can I determine if the Start of Year configuration which I have put in place will function as desired?
You can go to your OT page and move to a future date to see OT Hours as of that date.
