Auto update apps
Allow apps to automatically update on your device so you always have the latest version of ARCOS Mobile+.
1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings, then Network Preferences, and then Auto-update apps.
4. Select an option:
a. Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
b. Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.
Note: If an account on your device has a sign-in error, apps may not update automatically.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap App Store.
3. Turn on or turn off App Updates.
Turn off iCloud Backup (iOS devices only)
1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
2. Tap Manage Account Storage or tap Manage Storage, then tap Backups.
3. Tap the name of the device that you're using.
4. Turn off any apps that you don't want to back up.
5. Choose Turn Off & Delete.
Note: When you confirm that you want to Turn Off & Delete an app, it turns off iCloud Backup for that app and removes all of its information from iCloud.
Next: Delete the Mobile+ from your device then reinstall from the Apple app store.
Remember Me and PIN Login
Select ‘Remember Me’ from the login screen to allow login via PIN. Once ‘Remember Me’ is selected, the next time you log out of the app, you will have the option to respond to a Callout via the Mobile+ app using your 4-digit PIN. Just select ‘Use PIN’ from the login screen and you will be able to enter your 4-digit Callout PIN to respond to a Callout via the Mobile+ app.
Note that logging in via PIN limits the actions you can perform to responding to a Callout only, you will need to login using your password to perform any additional actions.
Enable Biometric Login
Note that Face ID or Touch ID login may not be supported depending on the device model.
To enable Biometrics, please navigate to Settings and then either ‘Face ID & Password’ or ‘Touch ID & Passcode’.
Note that the setup for Android devices may be slightly different depending on the manufacturer and model.
Biometric login settings are typically found under Settings > Security. From here you should see options to configure Fingerprint/Imprint and/or Face Recognition login.
Enable On the Mobile+ App
Once Biometric login has been enabled at the device level, it can now be enabled in the ARCOS Mobile+ app.
Go to My Account > Security > Enable Biometric Login. Once enabled, you will see a fingerprint icon on the login screen you can tap to login via Biometrics.
