NumDev - Number of Devices

The Number of Devices roster preference is a textbox that allows the maximum number of devices called to be restricted per roster basis, regardless of the number of devices allowed  on the Employee Modify page. If this preference is blank, ARCOS calls the maximum number of devices enabled for each employee on the roster for the callout. This roster preference is ignored for All Hands on Deck callouts and other callouts which are query-by-location or location-based. The field is for numeric characters only and will accept numbers up to the maximum configured for each employee.

Example: James Johnson has three devices configured for callouts on his employee record, but the standby list that he is one has the NumDev preference set to 1. Therefore only James' first device will be called, when he is called on the standby list.
