The NonAccPen (Non-Accept Penalty) roster preference is a checkbox that determines if employees will be penalized for not accepting a callout. If NonAccPen is enabled for a list and an employee does not accept, ARCOS will give the employee an unavailable schedule record from the time the non-accept was recorded until the start time of the employee's next shift. If the non-accept occurs on Friday and the employee's next shift is not until Monday, then the unavailable record will be from Friday at the time of the non-accept until Monday at the start of their shift, during this time the employee will not be available for callouts.
Note: For some customers the unavailable record is applied 15 minutes after the non-accept record is recorded. This unavailable record lasts throughout the remaining portion of the on-call period (Friday at noon).
Note: For some customers, if the employee does not have a future shift, the unavailable record will be from the time of the non-accept and span a total of seven days. For other customers, the unavailable record will be from the time of the non-accept and will end 7:00 AM the following day.
Note: If an employee calls inbound and accepts the same callout, ARCOS will remove the unavailable record from the employee.
Note: The unavailable exception will not be applied until all of the employee's devices are called. For example, if the employee has three devices and the callout is stopped after only two devices being called, the employee will not receive an unavailable schedule record because all of their devices were not called.
Note: The unavailable record is not applied if the roster is called in a chain in another location or a callout from another location is rolled over to the list. However, if a callout is create in a location other than the roster's location and the roster is initially selected, employees will be given the unavailable exception for non-accept results.
