The Limit-1 roster preference is a textbox that is used as a per roster to limit the number of accepts from the list. The value entered in the textbox is equalled to the maximum number of employees who can accept from that list.
Note: The total number of accepts from the list is counted across the entire callout.
Example: The Lineperson list has the Limit-1 roster preference set to 2, meaning only two employees can accept for the entire callout from this list. Chained to the Lineperson list is the Helper list. A callout is created for the Lineperson (Requesting 2 employees) list and Journey Lineman List also requesting 2 employees has the Lineperson list chained to it).
On the Lineperson sub-callout, one employee accepts from the Lineperson chain and one employee accepts from the Helper chain. When the Journeyman Lineman sub-callout is called only one accept will be allowed from the Lineperson chain since an employee accepted from that chain in the previous sub-callout.
