The J/ARule-1 roster preference is a checkbox that used to enforce the Journeyman/Apprentice rule per a roster basis. When enabled the ARCOS will call Apprentices and Journeyman at the same time but will not allow more than 1 apprentice to accept.
Example:
Employee |
J/A |
Adam Miller |
A |
Bill Smith |
J |
Charles Jones |
A |
Doug Johnson |
J |
Edward Thompson |
J |
Frank White |
J |
George Barnes |
A |
Using the list above with the JARule-1 enabled and requesting 3 employees, ARCOS will call Adam, Bill, and Doug at the same time. Adam errors out, Bill receives an answering machine result, and Doug accepts. ARCOS will then call Charles (accepted) and Edward (receives an answering machine result). Adam calls inbound to respond, since Charles has already accepted the callout Adam is told he has no pending callouts. ARCOS calls Frank, who declines. At this point the callout will go to Hold status because George hasn't been called since he is an apprentice and an apprentice has already accepted. Bill calls inbound and accepts the callout. The final results and positions are Bill (J), Charles (A), and Doug (J).
Note: Both Journeyman and Apprentices must occupy the same roster list in order for this roster preference to work properly.
