The E-mail Delay roster preference is a textbox that allows the user to specify the number of minutes to delay between sending e-mails to the employee's e-mail devices and calling the employee's first device. A whole number such as "4" or a decimal such as "4.5" can be entered in the E-mail Delay field up to 60 (minutes). If a decimal is entered, ARCOS will delay for the number of minutes and fraction of a minute entered. For example, if "4.5" is entered ARCOS will delay for four minutes and thirty seconds.
Note: If the callout list consists of multiple sequences, the E-mail Delay roster preference will need to be enabled for each sequence and not just the first one.
Note: If an employee has more than one e-mail address, the delay will occur after e-mails are sent to all e-mail devices for the employee and not after each individual e-mail device. Also note, an e-mail delay will not occur if E-mail Only is selected for the callout.
WARNING! If an employee calls inbound during the e-mail delay they will not be offered the position. In order to be offered the position, the employee must receive at least one call or page from ARCOS for the callout.
WARNING! If Blast Calling is enabled for the callout, ARCOS will send e-mails to an employee at the same time it is calling the employee's regular phone devices. The e-mail delay will still occur but ARCOS will already be calling the employee's devices when the delay occurs.
