Cancelling Personal Time (PT)

The Personal Time (PT) Cancellation page is used to control storm availability and allows ARCOS administrators to

• Override the "Personal Time" exception by default for all callout types during a storm period

• Charge all employees who are called while on the "Personal Time" exception and do not accept callouts they are called on during a storm period

Note: Employees will only be charged if the time they were called falls within the storm period.

• Block the ability to place employees on the "Personal Time" exception during the storm period

To Create a Storm Period

1. Click the Storm Exception button on the Sys Admin tab.

2. Click the New button in the Active Storm Exceptions table. A new row is added to the Active Storm Exceptions table.

   

3. Select the restrictions of the storm period: Block, Override and Charge (these are described above).

4. Click the Save button to create the period.

Note: After the storm period is created, you can return to the Storm Exception Admin page and modify the storm period's restrictions as needed.

To End a Storm Period

1. Click the Storm Exception button on the Sys Admin tab.

2. Check the End? checkbox for the exception.

3. Click the Save button to create the period.

To Search for a Storm Period

1. Click the Storm Exception button on the Sys Admin tab.

2. Select the date range to search by using the calendar pickers in the Storm Exception Search Range table.

Note: A period must fall entirely within the search range in order to be displayed.

3. Click the Search button. The search results display in the Inactive Storm Exceptions table.
