The Week schedule views (16 and 8 Week views) are used to assign shifts. Remember, in ARCOS a shift is a collection of working times that spans 7 days. Each daily working time record is referred to as a schedule record in ARCOS. An example of a shift is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday and an example of a schedule record is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm on Monday. Establishing the shift is done in the Week views and establishing or modifying an individual schedule record is done in the Day views.
Whenever you are in Week schedule view mode, you can customize the list using the Selector options, assign =shifts to employees, copy shifts from week to week for an employee or multiple employees, and delete assigned shifts.
ARCOS has two week views from which to choose: 16 Week View and 8 Week View. The buttons in both the Selector and Tools sections remain the same for both the 16 Week and 8 Week views. Shifts that appear in black text are regular shifts that have not been modified and shifts that appear in red text are regular shifts that have been modified with one-time changes. These changes can be viewed using one of the Day view screens.
All of the buttons shown on the Week view screens are defined in the table below.
