This is an optional field in the Override section of the Create Callout screen. Not all companies have this field available. When checked, this feature affects the order in which employees are called for a callout:
-
First, all Available contacts will be called.
-
Next, employees on Vacation - Call exception will be called. If an employee on Vacation - Call schedule exception declines the callout, he will be shown as Excused due to Override.
-
Finally, employees who responded previously with a Qualified No will be called back. When ARCOS calls back the Qualified No responders, those on Vacation - Call status in that group will be called AFTER the other employees with Qualified No responses.
During the callout, if ARCOS skips over anyone on Vacation - Call status, "Override Rank Rule" will be indicated in their reason field within the Not Attempted table on the Callout Detail report. This scenario presumes that Vacation - Call has been overridden on the callout OR the employee on Vacation - Call status has an Individual Override.
Note: If a person is on multiple, overlapping exceptions at the time of the callout, this rule may not be applied properly, depending on the specific combination of overridden exceptions that the employee is on at the time. For example, if an employee is on Vacation - Call AND Rest Time, ARCOS may consider them to be on Rest Time rather than Vacation - Call.
