Ninety-Minute Test

This is a feature that is not used by all companies. The 90-Minute Test allows dispatchers creating a callout to narrow the pool of available personnel to only those employees who will be "on shift" in the next 90-minutes. Accepting employees then, would work only 1.5 hours or less of overtime before their shift begins. Limiting overtime work hours results in saving money to a utility.

When this feature is used, the Create Callout page includes a button called 90-Minute Test. The button is available for all callout types and is not tied to any other setting. Click the button and ARCOS® automatically deselects all employees in the Manual Bypass section who do not have a normal shift record beginning within 90 minutes of the selected start time and if deselecting the employee does not violate any other decisions ARCOS has already made in this section. The manual bypass section also contains a column titled Curr Schedule that represents the 1-Day Schedule view for the employee. This is only a copy of the 1-Day Schedule view and cannot be edited from the Create Callout page.
