Closest-to-Trouble Roster Preference

The CTT roster preference is a textbox that determines how the list will be called when called in a Closest-to-Trouble callout. This roster preference supports three calling methods: roster order, Closest-to-Trouble order and Service Center closest to trouble with employees in roster order. See the examples below for more details.

• CTT set to null. When the CTT roster preference is null, the employees' Closest-to-Trouble proximity is ignored and they are called in the order they appear in on the Roster List Maintenance page.

• CTT set to 1. When the CTT roster preference is set to 1, employees are called based on their Closest-to-Trouble proximity.

• CTT set to 2. When the CTT roster preference is set to 2, employees are called based on their Service Center's location and their roster order.

Use the table below to help illustrate the following example. A Closest-to-Trouble callout is created for a list with the CTT roster preference set to 2 and employees from the Lapeer, Detroit, and Ann Arbor Service Centers, see the roster order on the left side of the table. In relevance to the trouble address Detroit is the closest to it followed by Lapeer and Ann Arbor. When the callout is initiated, ARCOS will call the employees on the roster from the Detroit location in the order they appear on the roster and will follow this logic for the Lapeer then Ann Arbor employees, see the right side of the table below.

Note: The location of the Service Centers were provided to ARCOS by your company at implementation of the CTT roster preference and are hard coded in the system and therefore cannot be changed by an ARCOS user through the web interface.
