Information regarding an incident can change. For example, an incident could have originally been created for a single outage; however, it is later found that the same issue caused several outages. In this scenario, it would be best to update the description and/or location of the incident to cover the entire issue.
Another reason to edit an incident is to close or reopen it. Meaning, the work has completed regarding the incident or additional work may need to be done for the closed incident.
To Edit an Incident

Click the Callout tab.

Click the Incident Admin button. The Incident Admin page displays.

Select the status and type of the incident that needs modified from their respective dropdowns. The incidents that fit the selected criteria display.

Click the edit button in the Actions column for the incident that needs modified.

Make the necessary modifications.

Click the Save button.
