Construction jobs, when received will have a status pull-down menu, rather than a static Release button in the Job List.
The options within this menu include View, Start, Complete, and Incomplete.
Since construction jobs can span several days, this allows the crews to relay what stage they’re at with each assigned job, electronically.
While in View status, the user can use all the functions within the system such as navigate and view job description, when accessing the job, but in a read-only state. Editing is not permitted while viewing.
Accessing the job while in the Start status, the user will have the ability to proceed with this stage of the job by submitting reports, adding notes, photos, etc.
Select the Complete status from the menu when the work associated with the request is done.
When selecting Incomplete you are requesting that this stage of the assigned work not progress, leaving with others to complete.
Frequently used Tool Bar icons within a construction work management job include:
|
Build - View job description, markup materials, add compatibility unit, etc. |
|
Note - Allows the user to place a Note anywhere on the map. |
|
JSA - Allows the user to place a Job Safety Assessment report. |
