Lodging Assignment Mode Panels Toolbar

The Lodging Assignment Mode Panels Toolbar houses the buttons that give users access to the different options that are available in the lodging assignment mode.

Screen items are listed below in the order they are pointed out in the above image from left to right.

Panels

• Crew Panel: When clicked, the crew panel displays and functions the same as the crew panel in crew mode.

• Hotel Panel: When clicked, the hotel panel displays on the right side of the page and allows the user to view availability for each hotel.

Display Settings

• Visible Days: Allows the user to enter the number of days they wish to view lodging assignments for.

Booking Buttons

• Booking Days: Allows the user to set how many days rooms are assigned.

• Assign Lodging: When clicked, the selected members are assigned to the selected rooms.

• Local Lodging: When clicked, the selected members are assigned to a "local" lodging bucket, which is used when a member does not need to stay in hotel and some other lodging arrangement has been made.

• Remove Lodging: When clicked, the room assignments are removed from selected members for the selected number of booking days.

Current Selections

• Number of Crews: Displays the number of crews selected.

Note: Only one member of a crew needs to be selected in order for the crew to be counted as selected.

• Clear Crew Selection: Clicking the "X" next to the number of crews deselects the crews/members.

• Number of Members: Displays the number of members currently selected.

• Clear Member Selection: Clicking the "X" next to the number of members deselects the members.

• Number of Hotels: Displays the number of hotels currently selected.

Note: Only one room needs to be selected in order for the hotel to be counted as selected.

• Clear Hotel Selection: Clicking the "X" next to the number of hotels deselects the hotels and rooms.

• Number of Rooms: Displays the number of rooms currently selected.

• Clear Room Selection: Clicking the "X" next to the number of rooms deselects the rooms.

Lodging Assignment Mode Settings

• Column Width: Allows the user to specify how many pixels wide the columns are in the lodging assignment panel.

• Do NOT load schedule data: When checked, schedules are not loaded. This means attributes that reference schedule records will NOT display information based on the members' current statuses.
