Users will generally set up the system in the logical order of Pay Codes, Employee Classifications, Employee Classification Sets, Shift Classifications, Shift Classification Sets, Accumulator Filters, Accumulators, Schedule Classifications, Holiday Accumulators, Post Accumulators, Pay Rule Sets.
The displayed diagram will help explain the flow in the RosterApps Time & Attendance module.
In the above example, during the shift process of calculating an employee’s time card, a training shift is classified as a “Training Shift” based on the Shift Components (a Skill Component in this case) used to define the Training Shift Classification. These hours (the duration of the training shift) then flow through the “Training Shift Hours Accumulator” which is defined by the relevant Shift Classifications, Employee Classifications, Accumulator Filters, Result Requirements, and the appropriate Pay Code. Each day, Pay Rule Set Accumulators output the resulting hours for each Pay Code to the time card.
