If the employee is a valid participant in a Vacation Bid Package Bid Round, employees will receive notice(s) in the Announcement section of their Home page displaying the details and bidding window dates.
If the Location Administrator requires the employee to Acknowledge receipt of the Vacation Bidding announcement they must first click the acknowledge check box to view the Bid Package notification.
If the employee fails to do so and attempts to leave their Home page, a pop-up modal will display asking the user to acknowledge the announcement before proceeding.
NOTE: The Acknowledgment function has a pending revision. Once deployed, if set by the Bid Package requirements, the employee will need to acknowledge the bid package in either the Announcement section, pop up modal, or Bid Package screen, before bidding will be permitted. Until deployed, it permits the employee to Cancel or close the modal and proceed to select and submit preferences.
