You can Copy an Availability Pattern that you have listed, both those that have been approved by your Administrator or those that have not. For the most part, you may Copy any pattern that you can View.
Once you are on the Availability Page, you will see the Patterns that you have created or submitted. Next to each listing, you will see at least two links: 'View' and 'Copy'. You can use the 'Copy' link to create a duplicate of any Availability Pattern on your list.
The Copy link will take you to a secondary page, where RosterApps prompts you to enter a new Effective Start Date for the new pattern to begin on. This is an effective way to make a copy of a working pattern you already have in place.
So, how can you use this? Here is an example: You are a student, and the semester is ending. You plan on being around for the summer break, and want to pick up more hours. The current pattern you have works well, and has been approved by your Administrator. So you start with a copy of that. You find the pattern in question, and click on the 'View' link to double check the days and times of your preferred work hours. You want to pick up more AM shifts because you don't have morning classes, so you will need to edit the start time of your preferred hours. Going back to your list, you find the Availability Pattern in question and click on the 'Copy' link.
RosterApps then prompts you with a secondary page, asking you to enter a new date for the start of the new pattern. See Figure 010340:
Now you enter your new start date, say the beginning of next week, which is Sunday in this case. Click on the blue 'Copy' button and RosterApps will create a copy of the Availability Plan you selected, which you can now Edit. Remember to change your 'Min Hrs Per Week' figure if you want more or less minimum hours, and your 'Max Hrs Per Week' if you want to lessen or increase your maximum hours for the week.
Next, you will want to change the pattern to reflect your new desired hours. Select which 30-minute blocks you prefer, and once you have finished making your changes, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
You will see the following options:

Save - This selection will save your changes, without submitting your Availability Pattern to your Administrator.

Return - This selection will return you to your Availability Pattern listings page. RosterApps will prompt you to confirm that you want to leave the page without saving your changes.

Submit - This selection will go ahead and submit your pattern to your Administrator. If you don't want to do this right away, just click save and you can always submit your pattern to your Administrator later.

Undo Changes - This selection will remove all the changes that you have made so far to your pattern.
