This is an option that is not available to all companies. When an employee is moved (transferred) to a new Location or Primary Class, ARCOS does not reset the year-to-date callout percentage (Charge/Credit) and the year-to-date Overtime hours total for that employee to zero. ARCOS auto-calculates the maximum overtime hours accumulated for the other users in the employee’s new rosters and applies an Assumed Hours record to the employee being moved such that he has the highest hours total on the roster ( Max + .1).
Note: If the work location is out of town, an after-the-fact adjustment of hours may be required.
Note: Transfers also automatically remove the employee from any roster assignments in their old location.
Once an employee has been transferred, the transfer date displays in their Curr Assign Date field. This field is tied to the ability to select whether you want to view reports based on all data for an employee or just current assignment data only.
You can produce reports based on either an employee’s actions in the current location or classification or for his/her year-to-date data, if the employee has been transferred during the year. The checkbox titled Data for Current Assignment Only? located on the setup page for several reports in the Overtime section controls whether you see all data or only current data for a transferred employee. The report below is an example of the view when Data for Current Assignment Only? has been checked for an employee who was transferred. The data at the top of the page is grayed out and the totals shown at the bottom of the page do not include the hours in the grayed out area. The grayed out area indicates data that is not part of the employee’s current assignment (location or classification).

Click the Classification dropdown and select the new classification to which you wish to transfer the employee.

The Curr Assign Date field on the Employee page is tied to the Overtime reports. All of the reports in the Overtime section, with the exception of the Coors Code Summary report, have a checkbox on the setup screen, titled Data for Current Assignment Only? that allows you to control whether you see all data or only the current data for a transferred employee. This report example illustrates the difference between having the checkbox not selected or selected when running an Individual Overtime Recap report for an employee who had been transferred.
