The fastest way to find an employee record in ARCOS is through the Employee Search screen. The search result displays employees with Active, Inactive and Deleted statuses. If there are more than 1,000 search results, only the first 1,000 are returned and the actual total number is indicated in red text, along with a message that says "Please narrow your search."
To Use the Employee Search Screen

Click the Search button on the Employee tab. The Employee Search screen displays.

Select the appropriate search criteria from the Search by: dropdown menu. See Employee Search Options for more information.

Enter the characters on which you wish to search in the Enter Search Text field. (The example uses "Mc" as the search text.)

Click Submit. The results of your search display.
Note: The Location names, on the results page, are hyper-links. These hyper-links display provided the user has access to the location. There is also a mouse over that shows the full location path for that location. If a user clicks the link, a pop-up displays to inform you that you will change locations and the name of the location that you are changing to.

Click the name of the employee for which you want to display the Employee Record.
Note: You can use the Back button on your browser to return to the search results.
Note: ARCOS will remember the last Search by selection and text string searched while you are logged into ARCOS. Clicking Yes on the remember filters pop-up, when logging out of the system, will save the last searched string for the next time you login.
