An employee's status can be set to either Active, Inactive, or Deleted. When an employee is created through the Employee Add feature, the new employee's status defaults to Active. An employee's status can be modified from the Employee Modify screen and by the HRI load process (If your company uses HRI loads.).
-
Active: An employee who is available for display and selection for all ARCOS functionality.
-
Inactive: An employee who displays on Employee View, Employee Modify, Employee Search, and Employee Status Change screens but is not available for any ARCOS functionality.
Note: Inactive employees are still billable employees within ARCOS.
