Deleting an Existing Alert Template

Follow the instructions below to delete an existing e-mail template. You must have "E-mail Template - Modify" permission on the Security page to use this functionality. If you try to delete a template that is currently being used, you will receive an error message.

To Delete an E-mail Template

1. Click the Sys Admin tab. The main System Administration page displays.

2. Click the Alerts sub-tab. The main Alert Template/Alerts Admin page displays.

   

3. Click the E-mail Template Admin button. The Alert Template Admin page displays.

   

4. Click the Edit link for the template you wish to delete. Click the Delete button in the Email Template Edit window and ARCOS prompts to ask if you wish to continue and delete the template.

5. Click OK to continue. ARCOS deletes the template and returns you to the Alert Template Admin page.
