Copying an Existing Alert Template

You must have "Alert Template - Modify" permission on the Security page to use this functionality.

To Copy an Existing Alert Template to Create a New Template

1. Click the Sys Admin tab. The main System Administration page displays.

2. Click the Alerts sub-tab. The main Alert Template/Alerts Admin page displays.

   

3. Click the Alert Template link. The Alert Template Admin page displays.

   

4. Click the Copy link for the template you wish to use to create the new template. The Alert Template Copy page displays and ARCOS prompts you to enter a new template name.

   

5. Click OK.

6. Enter a new name for the template in the Template Name field.

7. Make the desired changes to the template.

8. Click Save to save your changes.

9. Click Back to return to the Alert Template Admin page.
