Improving Custom Message Quality

Depending on the microphone or machine that your Custom Messages are recorded with, they can be very quiet and hard to hear. To prevent your important notifications from being missed follow the steps below to boost your recordings.

1. Click on your Start button on your desktop.

   

2. Click the Control Panel icon.

   

3. Double click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon. The Sounds and Audio Devices Properties pop-up will appear.

   

   

4. Click the Audio tab.

5. Click the Volume button in the Sound recording section.

   

6. Check the Select checkbox for the recording device.

   

7. Click the Advanced button. The Advanced Controls for Microphone pop-up will appear.

8. Check the Microphone Boost checkbox.

   

9. Click Close.
