The Materials link on the Construction Work Management report is still present (after GO is hit), but now displays a detailed life-cycle of material changes for the given work request, from design through material return. The Store Room can review the materials needed at any point while in the Job Readiness stage and update the request.
When the link is clicked, the Materials Status window opens displaying all the job materials needed for the job organized into three categories.
These categories include:
Poles, Serialized Equipment - Major equipment (large or expensive) that requires scanning or collecting outside.
Store Room - All other equipment from the store room.
Truck Stock - Stock that should already be on the truck which is needed for each job listed, referenced by both crew and store room if replenishment is necessary.
Expand the categories to view the quantities.
Quantities can be changed based on material availability. Clicking the link in the Qty Ready column opens the Adjust Quantity window allows the store room to alter.
