Address
The Address tab can be used to locate and pin on the map. Enter the address, optional label and click search. All search results are saved in this tab and can be viewed on the map at any time by clicking on the link.
Hover the cursor over the Check Mark icon to view the accuracy of the search results location on the map. Searches may need to be adjusted if the Confidence Level is anything but "High".
History
The History tab shows all your search and attribute review activity. You can revisit any listed asset again by clicking on the element in this tab. Clear History or visual Markers at any time by clicking the buttons available at the bottom of the list. The Clear Markers option applies to address markers as well.
Mobile
The system has mobile device tracking which can viewed by clicking on Mobile in the side tab. You can view as many mobile device paths as you like. Different color bread-crumb trails are assigned to each.
Once displayed hover your cursor over any change in direction of the lines to get a tooltip on the exact date and time, as well as speed if that is configured. When the system received poor signals (signal strength or not fixed by enough satellites) dashed lines are shown. The system joins the previous good signal to the next one, to show you the inferred path of the device in limited GPS signal areas.
To begin viewing a mobile path, shift click on a map symbol, a field patrol crew, or vehicle. Search for a specific field patrol using the gear icon. You will see a View Mobile Paths icon (clock) in the top right of the Info Panel.
Now you can choose a time period. Pick any start and end dates (by clicking on Other) or choose one of the presets. Click Live Update to see the map symbol and its breadcrumb trail move as new signals come into the system.
To stop viewing a mobile path, or to return to its breadcrumb trail if you have moved away on the map, go to the Mobile tab. Click on the device’s box to redisplay the full breadcrumb trail. Click the Delete icon (X) to remove it from the map.
Layers
Choose the Layers tab to get a list of options for map display. Click on any checkbox to toggle the layers on or off.
To access a more detailed level of options for each layer, click on the plus + sign. This brings up the Filter sub-panel for the selected element and allows the user to fine tune what is displayed by selecting one or more filter options.
When combining options, the map displayed all data that match any of the filter options. When a filter is active, the Delete and Edit icons appear next to the plus icon. Click the Delete icon to remove the filters or the Edit icon to modify.
Legend
Click on the Legend tab to see a graphical key to all assets on the map. Note that the content of the panel changes to display only those assets that are present within the current map view.
Measure
The Measure tab allows you to measure lines or paths on the map. Click the Start Measuring button, then again on the map to begin, drag the line and RIGHT+CLICK to end. The length of the distance displays in the dialog box.
