Adding a Room Type to Hotel

Once hotels and room types are created, the hotel’s layout needs to be added to ARCOS. The hotel’s layout is the hotel’s available room types and number of each room type the hotel has.

To add a room type to a hotel

1. Navigate to the Lodging Mode.

2. Click the plus sign (+) in the Room Type section for the hotel. The Add Capacity pop-up appears.

   

   

3. Select the room type from the Room Type dropdown.

4. Type the number of rooms the hotel has of the selected room type in the Quantity textbox on the Add Capacity pop-up.

Note: The number of rooms the hotel has available should be the total number of rooms in the hotel of the selected type. The number of rooms the hotel actually has available for booking will be configured later.

5. Type the standard rate for the room type in the Rate textbox.

6. Click the plus sign (+) to add the room type to the hotel. The hotel information refreshes to show the newly added hotel type.

Repeat these steps for all room types available at the hotel.
