Time & Attendance Enhancements
RAPD-12580 - Updates to Two-Way Trade Logic
ARCOS has updated the Two-Way Trade Component to preserve the shift status at the time the trade
was made. Therefore, any changes made to the shift after the trade will not be reflected on the receiving
employee’s time card. The Two-Way Trade updates include:
• If a shift is traded and then marked absent, it will appear on the absent employee’s time card with the
reason that is configured to display on the time card.
• If a shift is traded and then marked late, the segment of the shift which the employee did not work will
appear on the absent employee’s time card with the reason that is configured to display on the time card.
• If a shift is traded and then marked left early, the segment of the shift which the employee did not work will appear on the absent employee’s time card with the reason that is configured to to display on the time card.
• If a shift is traded and then a PTO request is granted on the shift, this will appear on the employee’s time
card who took PTO.
• If a shift is traded and then a UTO request is granted on the shift, this will NOT appear on the employee’s time card who took UTO.
• If a shift is traded and then deleted, this change will not affect the time cards of either employee and they will still get paid for their original shift.
• If a shift is traded and then split, this change will not affect the time cards of either employee and they
will still get paid for their original shift.
• If a shift is traded and then extended, the extension segment will appear on the time card of the employee who worked the extended shift.
• If a shift is traded and then shortened, it will NOT affect the time cards of either employee and they
will still get paid for their original shift.
• If a shift is traded and then edited via resolving an infraction, it will have the same effect as edit actions that are done via the calendar.
• If a block of shifts are traded, employees will be paid for all of their original shifts.
• If a shift is traded and then is subsequently traded again in another two-way trade, the original employee will still be the only one being paid for the shift.
This update will only affect Two-Way Trades made after the 23.28 release.
NOTE: The setup for the shift received classification will need to be adjusted. Anything that should be
paid for received shifts needs to be added into this classification so that those shifts get skipped. See the
screenshot below for an example of Absences and PTO.
This “Two Way Trade Received” classification should be up towards the top of classification set so it captures all of those shifts.
Enhanced Vacation Bidding Enhancements
RAPD-12557 - Employee: Add Ability To Request to Cancel Award from Home Page
ARCOS has updated the Enhanced Vacation Bidding functionality to allow employees to Request to Cancel Awarded Time Off from their Home page. Based on PTO Rule Sets, clicking the Cancel button for the listed shift in the Time Off Shifts Requested/Approved section, employees can Submit their request to Cancel Time Off Award, either a full week or specific date, pending Supervisor approval.
Note: The “Can Request to Cancel Published Time Off (Enhanced Vacation Bid)” Rule Set must be enabled
by a Company Administrator.
RAPD-12934 - Minimum Hours to Hold Last Week
ARCOS has updated Enhanced Vacation Bidding functionality to give Location Administrators the ability
to specify the minimum number of hours needed to hold “last week” allowing them to follow the union
requirement that specifies that employees do not need the full amount of vacation accrual in order to be
awarded their “last week” of the year. This value can be defined in the following pages:
- Hours Charged Page - From either the “Hours charged for Weeks based on entered value for each
employee” or the “Based on status and years of service” options available in the Time Charged section.
- Employee Participation Page - Select the Settings icon to open the Participation Overrides modal.
