RosterApps Enhancements
RAPD-12313 - IdeaBank: Mass Removal of Qualifications
ARCOS has updated RosterApps to allow Location Administrators to add or remove Qualifications for multiple employees simultaneously with the addition of the “Add/Remove Qualifications for Employees” link in the Work Groups tab.
Clicking this link opens the page, per Location, which includes an Add or Remove option with all employees within the Work Group listed. Employees can be filtered based on Status and date. Select the Add or Remove option, the affected employees, the Qualification Code, and Submit. Effective Start and End Date fields appear only when Adding Qualifications.
BUGS
The following issue has been resolved:
• RAPD-13352 - Traded Shifts During Transfer Process [ZD #59594 & 59881]
During a Transfer process, when there was a trade involved, the traded shift was appearing as orange on
the calendar instead of turquoise.
Time & Attendance Enhancements
RAPD-13018 - Initiate Callout Screen Needs to Display Custom Time Banks
ARCOS has updated RosterApps to display Custom Time Banks on the Initiate Callout page.
Prior to displaying, Location Administrators must enable via the Edit Shift Assignment Columns Settings
page per Location. By checking a Custom Time Bank from the available list, they will display in both the Shift Assignment and the Initiate Callout screen.
RAPD-13165 - Add Max Accrual Carry Setting
ARCOS has updated Accrual Calculators functionality within the Time and Attendance tab. The “Max accrual hours” field has been retitled “Max accrual carry” and now appears below the Future Bank field.
In addition, the option “None” has been removed from selection within the Future Bank
field. Leaving the field blank results in the same outcome.
The “Max accrual carry” field is not required, but if a value is entered, it needs to be a whole numeric
between 1-999.
If “Blank” option is selected for “Future Bank” and a value is entered into “Maximum accrual carry”,
employees may not accrue hours beyond this limit through the Accrual Calculator. The system will check to verify that the addition of any hours from the Accrual Calculator will not cause the bank to exceed the carry limit of the potential addition.
If any value besides “Blank” is selected for “Future Bank” and a value is entered for “Max accrual carry”,
employees may not accrue hours beyond this limit through the Accrual Calculator. The system will check to verify that the addition of any hours from the Accrual Calculator will not cause the bank to exceed the limit of the potential addition on the effective date of the transaction.
NOTE: Any hours added outside of the Accrual Calculator, such as via a manual adjustment on the Edit PTO screen or an API update, will not adhere to the Max accrual carry limit that is set. Therefore an employee can go past their Max accrual carry limit.
RAPD-13315 - Payroll Holidays: Update to When an Absence Occurs on a Holiday,
then No Shifts Paid as a Holiday
ARCOS has updated functionality to allow Company Administrators to define Holiday Pay such that if an
employee has an absent shift on the day of the Holiday they will not receive Holiday Pay for any shifts worked on the same Holiday, thus adhering to the union contract agreements.
Schedule Classifications can now be added to accumulators to achieve this result. This can be done by
creating a new Schedule Classification that includes all the absent reasons that should result in an employee not getting Holiday Pay. This new Schedule Classification will then need to be added to the Holiday Pay Accumulator.
RAPD-13364 - Update to Allow Time Keeper to “Act” as Supervisor
ARCOS has updated Time & Attendance functionality by allowing Company Administrators to enable Time Keepers employee calendar access. When Time & Attendance is enabled at the Location level, the “Allow Timekeeper Employee Calendar Actions” option displays which can be enabled. Functionality which allows access and the ability to modify employee calendars, actions typically performed by those in a Supervisor role, will follow in a future release.

• RAPD-12826 - PPC Calendar Skips a Week when Sunday/Monday Shift is Edited [ZD #57017]
Enhanced Vacation Bidding Enhancements
RAPD-12628 - Add Effective Dates for Exchange
ARCOS has enhanced the Rebid Options to include effective dates when Exchanges are permitted within a
Bid Round. Location Administrators now have the ability to restrict the preferences that can be exchanged to specific dates with the addition of the Effective Date Range fields.
NOTE: The Effective Dates of allowed exchanges must fall within the Effective Dates of the Bid Package. By
default these dates will be the same as Effective Dates of the Bid Round.
RAPD-12650 - Printable All Awards Report
ARCOS has enhanced RosterApps EVB by offering users who have access (Location Admins and employees), a printable version of the All Awards Report with the addition of the Excel and PDF buttons available at the top of the page.
NOTE: Employees will have access if the “Allow all employees within a vacation bid group to view each others vacation bid round awards” is enabled in the Bid Package.
RAPD-12935 - Apply Hours and Time Off Reason Settings
ARCOS has enhanced Bid Rounds within EVB to allow Location Administrators to specify how vacation hours are applied to shifts as well as a Time Off Reason when there is not enough available hours to cover the PTO to ensure the published vacation awards are applied correctly to shifts.
Users can define these settings in the Time Charged section on the Hours Charged page if either the Hours Charged based on entered value for employee or the Based on Status and years of service options are selected and include:
•How to apply hours (req’d) - Select either “Spread evenly across shifts” (default) or “chronologically”.
•Time off reason for leftover hours (optional) - Select the Time Off Reason that will be applied to shift hours when the employee doesn’t have enough accrual hours to cover the full award.
For Example:
How the different options are applied - Two 8 hour shifts, employee has only have 10 hours of accruals.
• “Spread across all shifts”: for each shift, charge 5 hrs against PTO accruals, 3 hrs against a Time Off Reason if one has been defined.
• “Chronologically”: first shift of week, 8 hrs against PTO accruals, and second shifts of week 2 hrs against
PTO accrual reason and 6 hrs against a Time Off Reason if one has been defined.
NOTE: When canceling awards that have shifts which have been split due to insufficient accrual hours, you must select the PTO shift in order to be able to cancel the entire award.
