Time & Attendance Enhancement
RAPD-9832 - IdeaBank: Maintain Employee/Dates Between Calendar View and Time Card View
ARCOS has updated RosterApps to maintain the selected filtered view for Schedule Viewers when they switch between the Calendar view and the Time Card view for an employee. This change allows the user to compare the views without having to reselect the employee, active date and selected week in question.
Enhanced Vacation Bidding Enhancements
RAPD-2371 - Bid Rounds: Hours Charged - Vacation Charged Based on Status
Hours Charged settings have been updated to include a new setting “Actual hours charged on publish”
to indicate how the hours will be charged upon being published. Currently, the system always applies the
value from “Default hours” which upon publishing of the award and the employee calendar will show the
value distributed across all shifts in that week and the PTO bank will reflect this value deducted.
The available options include:
• Default hours value
• Default hours is maximum
- When using the “Default Hours as Maximum” option and the employee having less or equal shift
hours in the week than the value, upon publishing of the award, the employee calendar will reflect
all shifts in the week converted to PTO and the PTO bank will reflect the total shift hours.
- When using the “Default Hours as Maximum” option and the employee having more shift hours
in the week than the value, upon publishing of the award, the employee calendar will reflect the
value distributed across all shifts in that week and the PTO bank will reflect the max. value deducted.
• Default Hours is minimum
– When using the “Default Hours as Minimum” option and the employee having more or equal shift
hours in the week than the value, upon publishing of the award, the employee calendar will reflect
all shifts in the week converted to PTO and the PTO bank will reflect total shift hours.
– When using the “Default Hours as Minimum” option and the employee having less shift hours in
the week than the value, upon publishing of the award, the employee calendar will reflect the
value distributed across all shifts in that week and the PTO bank will reflect the min. value deducted.
• Shift hours
– When using the “Shift Hours” option, upon publishing of the award, the employee calendar will
reflect all shifts in the week converted to PTO and the PTO bank will reflect the shift hours.
The above options are available when Based on status and years of service is selected. Clicking the Plus
icon available for Charge by employee status opens the Add Hours Charged modal allowing the user to
define.
RAPD-12558 - Added Supervisor Ability to Approval or Deny the Cancellation of
Award Request
ARCOS has updated the Enhanced Vacation Bidding functionality by allowing Supervisors to approve
or deny a “Cancellation of Awarded Time Off Request” made by an employee with or without the shifts
appearing on their calendars.
If a Supervisor or an Employee submits a request to cancel an EVB awarded week, the date range is
displayed in the Supervisor Home screen Time Off Requests section. If selected, the full week range is
displayed and reflects options to Approve, Deny, or Cancel.
If a Supervisor or an Employee submits a request to cancel a specific date within an EVB awarded week, the specific date is reflected in the Supervisor Home screen Time Off Requests section. If selected, the specific date is displayed and reflects options to Approve, Deny, or Cancel.
NOTE: The Paid Time Off “Can Request to Cancel Awarded Time Off (Enhanced Vacation Bid)” must be
enabled.
RAPD-12970 - UX Update Part 2
