Have you ever worked the late shift and forgot to release someone from a Callout? Has an employee ever forgotten to release themselves from a callout and you had to fix their records in the morning? If there were only a feature that would call the employee back and ask if they are still working...
More often than not, when an employee is not released from a callout, the end time is auto-extended out another hour each time ARCOS approaches the end time of the record. When this happens, employees have the possibility of missing other overtime opportunities because ARCOS is viewing them as working instead of available.
Solution
ARCOS is here to help you! We have a feature called Employee Release Callback. This feature will enable supervisors to select their assigned subordinates to be called back, by ARCOS, after working an exception for a set period of time. The set period of time is configurable per company.
When the employee is called back after they have been working the designated period of hours, they will be told how long they have been working and asked if they want to continue working or release themselves as of now. If the employee selects to continue working, ARCOS will auto extend the working record out another four hours and call them back after that four hours has been reached. If the employee selects to release themselves as of now, the will be released with an end time of now.
To enable the Employee Release Callback feature:
- Click on the Employee tab.
- Click on the Modify button.
- Click on an employees name.
- Look for and check the following box:
- Save changes.
That’s it! If the employee has worked the set amount of hours, ARCOS will call the employee and ask if they would like to release themselves or continue working.
Note: Employee Release Callback feature Is not enabled for all companies. If you are interested in this feature, please contact the ARCOS Support.
