With the recent changes to ARCOS and the elimination of Internet Explorer 7 support, many users are receiving an error message after updating their browser version to IE 8 and higher and logging into ARCOS.
This is commonly caused by compatibility view, which is an emulator that displays web pages in previous versions of Internet Explorer. Attempting to access ARCOS while the compatibility view is enabled, will result in the error message shown.
For current supported browsers, please visit the Minimum System Requirements page.
Solution
Removing the ARCOS web address from compatibility view will remedy the unsupported browser error, and allow you to access ARCOS.
To modify or remove compatibility view, follow these steps within Internet Explorer:
- Click on the Tools menu bar.
- In the drop down, click Compatibility View Settings.
- Remove, “rostermonster.com” from the, Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View, section.
- Click Close.
Note: You may need to restart your browser for the changes to take affect.
