There are a number of reasons users need to change their location in ARCOS. Whether the reason is to update a roster list, create a callout, generate a Callout List report or view employee schedules, it is important that web users know the different ways to quickly navigate between locations to save them time.
There are three primary ways an ARCOS user can change their current location in ARCOS. These include navigating through the location hierarchy on the Location tab, using the location search feature also on the Location tab, and using the location selector dropdowns at the top of the ARCOS page.
Warning: Organizational performance reports like the Rollup Report and Longterm Report display data based on where the callout was initiated from and not where the list resides. To ensure these reports display meaningful information for you and your higher-ups, dispatchers should change their location to the location the list resides, prior to creating a callout.
Solution
To change your location using the hierarchy on the Location tab:
- Click the Location tab.
- Select the level one—the first dropdown—the location you wish to navigate to resides.
- Select the level two—the second dropdown—the location you wish to navigate to resides.
- Select the level three—the third dropdown—the location you wish to navigate to resides.
- Select the level four—the fourth dropdown—the location you wish to navigate to resides.
To change your location using the Search feature on the Location tab:
- Click the Search button on the Location tab.
- Type the location’s name or part of the location’s name in the Enter Search Text textbox.
- Click the Submit button.
- Click the location’s name. ARCOS will refresh the page with the selected location’s data.
To change your location using the location selector dropdowns at the top of the page:
- Click the name of your current location. The name turns into a dropdown.
- Select the location you wish to navigate to from the dropdown. ARCOS will refresh the page with your new location.

Clicking your company’s logo in the upper left hand corner of the screen is a quick way to return you to your home location—the location you start in when you first log into ARCOS.
