Applying an E-mail Template

In the September issue of Tips & Tricks, we discussed how to create a new e-mail template. In this section we will cover how to apply the e-mail template to a callout or alert type so ARCOS can use the new template for e-mails. Please see the Modifying E-mail Templates article.

Solution

To apply an e-mail template to a callout or alert type:

1. Click the E-mail/Alerts button on the Sys Admin tab. The E-mail Template/Alerts Admin page displays.
2. Click the E-mail Template Admin button. The E-mail Template Admin page displays.
3. Select the radio button in the Select column for the e-mail template. The selected template displays with a red background once selected.
4. Click in the Full Template and/or Condensed Template field for the desired callout type or alert type in the E-mail Template Usage table, circled in the figure on the right. ARCOS displays a pop-up confirming the change.
   Note: The Condensed template is used when sending e-mails to devices to small devices or for sending text messages to a cell phone.
5. Click the OK button on the pop-up to confirm changes.
