Employee Supervisor

A strict Report To hierarchy is enforced with this feature. A supervisor is not eligible to be selected from the Reports To dropdown on the employee page if he is already subordinate to that employee in the Report To chain of command hierarchy, either as an immediate report or as a report that is supervised by the immediate report, etc.

You cannot uncheck the supervisor checkbox if that employee still has direct reports defined under his supervision.

The location picker for the Report To section on the employee page will default to the location of the current supervisor if the employee has one identified; if the employee does not yet have a supervisor identified in the Report To dropdown, the location picker will default to the location of the employee.
