Disabling Internet Explorer (IE) Information Bar

When you download reports or other files, you may receive the Information Bar. If you wish to set your browser so that the bar no longer displays, follow the instructions below.

1. Launch Internet Explorer.

2. Select Tools>Internet Options.

3. Select the Security tab.

4. Click Custom Level.

5. Do one or both of the following:

1. • To turn off the Information Bar for file downloads, click Enable in the Downloads section under Automatic Prompting for file downloads.

   • To turn off the Information Bar for ActiveX controls, click Enable in the ActiveX controls and plug-ins section under Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls.
