This is a feature that not all companies use. It allows employees to use Inbound ARCOS to collect the time that a crew or employee arrives on-site for a callout and also the time the situation is "made safe."
If an employee who is in "Working - Normal Callout" status, calls Inbound ARCOS, he is required to enter two pieces of information before he can access the Main Menu: Callout Arrival Time (in 24-hour format) and Callout Made Safe Time (in 24-hour format).
Note: The entered time is assumed to be in the time zone of the Level 4 location that the calling employee is assigned to. Entered time may be up to 15 minutes in the future. If the entered time is more than 15 minutes into the future, ARCOS interprets that time as having occurred on the previous day. If the entered Arrival Time is before the Callout Work Start Time , the time is flagged as invalid and must be re-entered. If the entered Made Safe Time is before the Callout Arrival Time, the time is flagged as invalid and must be re-entered.
Callout Arrival Time
When the caller, who is in "Working - Normal Callout" status, calls Inbound ARCOS, he is prompted to:
-
Enter a Callout Arrival Time, in 24-hour format.
-
Press the pound key (#) on the telephone.
If a valid time is entered, ARCOS responds with the message, "Thank you for your Callout Arrival Time." The Arrival Time is recorded in ARCOS and will not be required to be entered again for the same callout.
Made Safe Time
When the caller, who is in "Working - Normal Callout" status, calls Inbound ARCOS and has responded to the Callout Arrival Time, he is prompted to:
-

-
Press the pound key (#) on the telephone.
If a valid time is entered, ARCOS responds with the message, "Thank you for your Callout Made Safe Time." The Made Safe time is recorded in ARCOS and will not be required to be entered again for the same callout.
Make Yourself Available at Conclusion of Callout
Once the callout is complete, you should release yourself from the callout. Whether you were caller who entered the Callout Arrival Time and Callout Made Safe Time or not, when you call Inbound ARCOS, you are prompted to:
-
Press 1 to change your Availability status.
-
Press 1 to release yourself, or Press 3 to release all employees who are currently working on the same callout.
If a valid choice is entered, ARCOS responds with either a message stating you have been released from the callout, or all employees have been released from the callout.
