How to Create Time Banks and Update Time Bank hours
Time Banks allow Location Administrators to view and modify custom Time Banks configured for the selected employee including total hours and the specific transactions associated.
In order to create a new Time Bank, you must first be acting as a Company Administrator. You will then want to select the Time and Attendance Settings tab. From the example screen below, you will want to select the Time Banks link under the Banks column heading.
Selecting the Time Banks link opens the list of established Accrual Calculators within your company. (example below)
Displayed for each is the Name, Abbreviation (as the bank appears in the Time Bank Summary per employee), as well as the number of Pay Codes and Locations associated.
Edits can be made to each listed by selecting the Edit icon.
Clicking the + Add New button opens the New Time Bank window.
Enter the name for the new Time Bank, Abbreviation, and a description if necessary. Select the Pay Codes to apply and assign the Locations to the new Time Bank from the available lists. The Active option will be enabled by default.
Editing Time Banks per Employee
Location Administrators have the ability to edit Time Bank details per employee.
Open the Edit Employee window by clicking the Edit link for the specified employee in the Employees tab.
The Time Bank Summary section displays the Time Banks configured for the selected employee (seen above).
Clicking an individual Time Bank opens the detailed view including total hours as well as the specific transactions that affected the accumulated hours.
Clicking the Update Hours button available at the top of the page allows the user to make manual adjustments in the dialog that opens.
Finally, click Apply to save any changes.
