The usage by location section is where you assign a start of year set to a location. Start of year (SOY) sets can be assigned at any level within the location hierarchy (1, 2, 3 and 4). When you access the OT Start of Year Admin page, the usage set that is assigned to your current location is highlighted in yellow on the Set Usage by Location table.
Note: The SOY dates are applied at the location level and are not applied at the employee level. Meaning, if an employee is in location A but is also on rosters in location B and location A’s SOY is 1/1 and location B’s SOY is 1/15, the employee will have a different total number of hours on the roster based on which location the roster is in.
To assign a SOY set to a location
Click the Daily OT Entry button on the ListMnt tab - OR -
Click the Start of Year Admin button on the ListMnt tab and skip to step 3.
Click the Start of Year Admin button. The Start of Year Admin page displays.
Click the +Add Usage button on the Set Usage by Location table. The Choose a Location pop-up displays.
Select the desired location(s) from the picker. Click the triangles next to locations to expand and collapse the hierarchy.
Click the OK button.
