OT Start of Year Admin

The OT Start of Year Admin page allows ARCOS administrators to configure overtime reset dates on a per location basis. Depending on how your ARCOS system is configured, the Start of Year Admin button will be located in one of the following two locations:

• The red panel on the List Mnt tab
• The top section of the Daily Overtime Entry page

Note: In ARCOS, the start of year (SOY) is the first effective date hours will be observed for the overtime period. This means, if the SOY is 1/15, rosters with an effective date later than 1/15 will only contain hours entered for 1/15 going forward and rosters with an effective date prior to 1/15 will only use hours prior to 1/15.

The OT Start of Year Admin page is broken up into two sections:

• Start of year sets
• Set usage by location

The sets section is used to configure different sets of SOY dates that can be applied to a location(s). You can have as many sets that are necessary to maintain your company’s overtime rules. Just keep in mind, a new start of year date will need to be added to each set individually when it is time for a new start of year.

The usage by location section is where you assign a start of year set to a location. SOY sets can be assigned at any level within the location hierarchy (1, 2, 3 and 4). When you access the OT Start of Year Admin page, the usage set that is assigned to your current location is highlighted in yellow on the Set Usage by Location table.
