The Rotate sort roster preference is a textbox that determines the number of employees that will be moved from the top of the list to the bottom of the list when the list resequences.
Note: The Rotate option can only be used when employees are manually sorted and Resequence Options must be configured for the list.
Example 1: The following employees are on a list in this order John, Bob, Chuck, Mike, and Adam. If Rotate is set to 2, the order of the employees will be Chuck, Mike, Adam, John, and Bob when the list resequences next.
Note: If Sort Preferences are applied to employees on the list they will rotate within their sort preference. See the example below.
Example 2: The list is sorted with Sort Preferences and Rotate is set to 1.
