The AHV (ad hoc value) attribute type allows the user to enter any value necessary into the badge. Currently, only member and crew level attributes can use the ad hoc value attribute type. Ad hoc values can be used to track things like emergency contact numbers, ETA's, vehicle number, vehicle radio/cell, circuit number and check in date/time.
Note: If an attribute is set as an AHV type, values cannot be entered from the attribute edit window. Users must manually enter values through the badge edit pop-up within the Crew Panel.
To set a value for an AHV attribute
-
Double click the badge. The modify badge pop-up appears with existing values in numeric/alphabetical order.
Note: ASB (always show badge) should also be selected for the attribute, so users will be able to view the badge to double click it.
-
Type the value that needs to be populated in the badge in the New Value... textbox.
Note: If you attempt to enter a value that is already assigned, ARCOS will scroll to that value in the pick list and will highlight it yellow.
-
Press the enter key on your keyboard. The value is added to the list of values within the pop-up.
-
Click on the value from the list to select it.
