The perspective panel allows users to create and manage perspectives. Instead of having the users load a view set and filter set, perspectives allow the end user to load both a predetermined view set and a predetermined filter set.
To Edit a Perspective’s Properties

Load the perspective to be edited.

Click the Perspective button in the mode toolbar. This button looks like an eye. The perspective menu displays.

Click the Edit button. The Perspective Set Detail Edit pop-up appears.
Note: A locked perspective cannot be edited.

Make the necessary changes.

Auto-Update: When checked, the perspective auto-saves with any changes you make, such as loading a new view or filter set. This option cannot be selected for perspectives with public access.

Default Working Mode: This determines which mode Crew Manager will load in when the perspective is loaded.

Default Display in Crew Mode: This determines which View mode will load when the perspective is loaded.

Public: When enabled, other Crew Manager users can load and use the perspective but cannot save any changes.

Allow Public Edit: When enabled, other Crew Manager users can load the perspective and save changes to it.

Locked: When enabled, no one can save changes to the perspective. (Not even the perspective’s owner.)

Click the Save button.
