Timeline Panel Overview

The Timeline Panel is used by ARCOS users to view employees' schedule records (shifts, callouts, holdovers, vacation, sick...) in real time, in the past or future and can be used to display a summary of availability for each group. The Timeline Panel is also used to assign schedule exceptions, storm shifts and work orders to employees and crews.

• Timeline: The timeline displays the employees' schedules and assignments. Users can click and drag the timeline background to change the displayed time/date range.

• Timestamp: The timestamp bar displays time markers in the interval selected in the Zoom Control.

• PIT NOW: The PIT Now (point in time) bar is a red bar within the timeline that is moves across the timeline and remains at the current time position.

• PIT: The PIT (point in time) bar is a blue bar within the timeline that the user can move to view schedules and assignments as of the time relative to the PIT's position within the timeline.

• Schedule Records: Schedule records that are assigned to employees display in the ARCOS Crew Manager. Each type of schedule exception (shift, other work, exception) has its own color:

• • Normal Shift: Gold

  • Holdover: Light Blue

  • Callout: Light Blue

  • Exceptions: Green
