The Awards section of the Home Page features information about vacation weeks/days awarded. If you have this information on your page, (not all do or will), you will see that you may have a vacation request or vacation bid that has not come up in the most current bid, but are still marked for your vacation. Once the current bid is established, these vacation weeks will be converted into actual shifts (and will show up then in the Time Off Shifts Requested/Approved section, and marked as your vacation time.
If you would like to cancel a vacation award where you don't yet have assigned shifts, the home page is the only place you will be able to request to cancel this award (it is not available on the calendar). Clicking the Cancel button will send a request to your Supervisor letting them know you wish to cancel the award. They will then need to approve it before it is actually cancelled.
When the bid comes up that has the awarded vacation weeks in them, RosterApps will automatically turn these weeks into shifts, and mark them appropriately as PTO.
