A Pager Profile can be created for the use for a single employee for the use by multiple employees.
Note: For most companies, a Pager Profile cannot be set as a 800 number.
To Create a new Pager Profile

Click the Sys Admin tab. The System Administration screen displays.

Click the Pager button. The Pager Page displays.

Click the Create new Pager Profile button. The Pager Profile Detail - Add screen displays.

Enter a new Pager Profile Name in the Pager Profile Name field.

Enter a phone number (with area code first) in the Phone Number field.

Click the checkbox to indicate if the pager is a group pager. (Group Pager is an optional feature.)

Enter comments in the Comments field.

Enter the steps for using the pager in the Dialing Steps fields.

Click the Save button to save the new pager information.
Note: When you create a pager type that has a PIN in its dialing steps, the PIN field is required when the pager is assigned to an employee. If you do not enter a PIN number in the PIN field on the Employee page, you will receive a pop-up telling you to enter a PIN. Conversely, if the pager type does NOT have a PIN in its steps but you enter one on the Employee page, you will receive a pop-up to confirm that you entered a PIN even though the pager type does not use it.
